Cyndi Lauper: Live… At Last (2004)
Recorded on tour to support At Last, her album of standards, (hence the DVD’s title), this is also the first time the singer’s live show has been officially available. Even though she has flown under the radar since her mid-’80s heyday releasing only three albums and an EP of original material from 1990 until this DVD’s appearance in 2004, Lauper has stayed active and her vocal chops are as good, if not better than, ever.

Set in Berlin, Germany less than a year after the destruction of the hated Berlin Wall, Waters was accompanied by disparate talents such as Cyndi Lauper, James Galway, Joni Mitchell and Albert Finney in the classic dark musical tale of a rock star’s descent into madness and back. The performance was subsequently released as a top-selling video.

WWE WrestleMania (1985)
WrestleMania was the first annual WrestleMania professional wrestling pay-per-view event (only in selected areas), produced by the World Wrestling Federation. It took place on March 31, 1985, at Madison Square Garden in New York City. The attendance for the event was 19,121 fans. The event was viewed by over one million fans through closed-circuit television, making it the largest showing of an event on closed-circuit television in the United States at the time. The show featured nine professional wrestling matches. The main event match pitted Hulk Hogan and Mr. T against Roddy Piper and Paul Orndorff. Hogan and Mr. T won the match after interference from “Cowboy” Bob Orton. Also at the event, Wendi Richter (accompanied by manager Cyndi Lauper) defeated Leilani Kai to win the WWF Women’s Championship, and Nikolai Volkoff and The Iron Sheik defeated The U.S. Express (Mike Rotundo and Barry Windham) to win the WWF Tag Team Championship.

Off and Running (1991)
Cyndi Lauper stars as a performing mermaid in a Miami nightclub who ends up on the wrong end of a murder. On the run carrying a locket that people seem to be getting killed for, she runs into an ex-golfer and a wisecracking kid who might just be able to bail her out of this wacky nightmare.
