A Walton Thanksgiving Reunion (1993)

Ben argues with his father about buying a new truck for their lumber company, but John keeps insisting that they can’t afford it. Elsewhere, Erin now has three children and is separated from Paul. Her decision to start seeing another man causes some indignation among the other Walton family members. Ike and Corabeth become grandparents when Aimee has a daughter, while Elizabeth returns from Europe and reunites with Drew, her old beau.

The Seventh Sin (1957)

Her physician husband Walter discovers it and presents her with a choice: travel with him to China (where he will fight a cholera epidemic) or face the scandal of a public divorce. She persuades him to reconsider and he proposes an alternative. If Paul’s wife will agree to a divorce and he marries Carol within one week Walter will obtain a quiet divorce. Carol presents Walter’s ‘deal’ to Paul, who regretfully declines, citing respect for his wife.Carol sees as her only choice to accompany Walter to the village, where she meets booze-soaked Tim. He soon introduces her to nuns at the local hospital-convent and Carol begins to re-evaluate her self-absorbed life and character. Working at the convent, Carol learns she is pregnant. She tells Walter she’s unsure who is the father and he regrets her honesty. Shortly after, Walter contracts cholera and dies. Carol returns to Hong Kong and an uncertain future.

The story is really a coming of age story about the oldest son John-Boy who must cut down the tree with his grandfather since his father isn’t home and is eventually told about his missing father and sets out to find him. An all round heartwarming story, especially if you are a fan of The Waltons. A simple story about a simple family in simple times. Great family entertainment!

The series pilot aired as a television movie entitled The Homecoming: A Christmas Story and was broadcast on December 19, 1971. Beginning in September 1972, the series originally aired on CBS for a total of nine seasons. After the series was canceled in 1981, three television movie sequels followed in 1982, with three more in the 1990s. The Waltons was produced by Lorimar Productions and distributed by Warner Bros. Domestic Television Distribution in syndication.

$80.00Please Don’t Eat the Daisies is an American sitcom that aired on NBC from September 14, 1965 to April 22, 1967. The series was based upon the 1957 book by Jean Kerr and 1960 film starring Doris Day and David Niven.
The series ran for 58 half-hour episodes and stars Patricia Crowley and Mark Miller. The show also features Dub Taylor, Clint Howard, and Bonnie Franklin for multiple appearances; Ellen Corby had a recurring role as Martha the housekeeper. Robert Vaughn and David McCallum appeared in the “Say UNCLE” episode as Napoleon Solo and Illya Kuryakin, and Stefanie Powers appeared as April Dancer in the “Remember Lake Serene” episode, connecting this series to The Man from U.N.C.L.E. and The Girl from U.N.C.L.E..
In its first season, the show did fairly well in the ratings. It was scheduled on Tuesday nights opposite the second half of two veteran shows on prime time television, Rawhide on CBS and Combat! on ABC. For its second year, Please Don’t Eat The Daisies was moved to Saturday nights where it faced brutal competition against the second half of The Jackie Gleason Show. The ratings fell and NBC canceled the series in the spring of 1967.
