The protagonist Hiroshi Kokusho was an ace rugby player in his high school days attracting national attention, but his forceful play led to an injury. Condemned by his teammates and becoming isolated, he retires. After graduation, he lives on his own but fails to get a regular job, living a dizzying, carefree, day-to-day life. One day, after getting involved in a fight leads to the point of getting the police involved, he is fired from his job at a construction site and is evicted from the apartment he lives in for nonpayment of rent, leaving him at complete loss. Then a man comes to him and says, “let me introduce a job that’s perfect for you!” “A dormitory and three meals included! So perfect for your physical strength which you are so proud of!” The job is in fact at a “Ground Self-Defense Force” which protects the peace and security of the country…

The drifter
When 3 female high school students walk along the sea shore, they find a naked man laying down. They film him with their smartphones and the man says “Winner Take Nothing” before losing consciousness. The man is soon sent to the hospital, where he is diagnosed with having memory loss and he also drowned after swimming for an extended length of time. The man doesn’t have any kind of identification. The only clue to his identity is a tattoo on his left ankle. The 3 high school students who found him uploads a video they filmed of him to social media. Due to the video, the man becomes famous.

Don’t Call It Mystery
University student Kuno Totono is the type who constantly questions what is taken for granted in society and develops his own theories based on his vast knowledge and unique set of values. One day in autumn, the police come to see him. His university schoolmate has been murdered at a park nearby and the police apparently regard Totono with suspicion. He is asked to come with them for questioning. In the interrogation room, the police are manipulated by Totono who tends to digress from the topic and poke at their contradictions. He even correctly guesses that one of them is troubled about not getting along with the wife and ends up giving advice. However, Totono’s fingerprints are eventually discovered on the murder weapon.
