Clarkson: Supercar Showdown (2007)

Plus there’s a new kid on the block in the shape of the stunning Ascari A10. And the line-up would not be complete without the 1000 horsepower, 252 miles per hour Bugatti Veyron. Meanwhile, everything else explodes as Jeremy finds out if there is such a thing as “Too much” turbo power, a Renault Alpine A610 comes to the end of the road.

The lightweight Lamborghini Superleggera battles it out on the track with Ferrari’s 430 Scuderia and my test of the best takes me to the breathtaking roads of the Swiss Alps, the no limits German autobahn – and, er, Norfolk.

Top Gear: 50 Years of Bond Cars (2013)
$15.00Top Gear marks 50 years of James Bond films with a celebration of 007’s most iconic cars. From the gorgeous, gadget-laden Aston Martin DB5 and aquatic Lotus Esprit to the gawky Citroen 2CV and spiral jumping AMC Hornet, Richard Hammond looks at the machines that moved the world’s favorite spy and gets the stories behind them from Bond legends including actors Daniel Craig and Sir Roger Moore, directors Guy Hamilton and Vic Armstrong, and producer Michael G. Wilson. Inspired by the on-screen Q Branch, Hammond also attempts a car gadget of his own with a home-made “invisibility cloak” and takes a plucky, low budget stab at something even the Bond producers couldn’t crack – building a fully working Lotus submarine. Top Gear: 50 Years Of Bond Cars is almost as exciting as an actual Bond film.

Clarkson: Heaven and Hell (2005)
$15.00And so, this is the big one. I trawl the whole of cardom to bring you seven great cars and truffle the undergrowth looking for seven automotive disasters. The good ones – the Ferraris, the Porches and the Aston Martins are driven to within an inch of their lives on the track. Some are even handed over to the Stig who makes a guest appearance. The bad ones are killed. Sawn in half. Hung, drawn and quartered. They’re hammered and blown to pieces with dynamite and their skeletons left in the open to rot. I even find time for a game of car jousting. It’s Heaven then, and Hell.
