    Stevie “Smudger” Smith and his wife Marie are both addicted to drugs; he’s also a dealer. The day he ‘deals with’ another dealer, she gives birth to a baby. The baby appears to be addicted too and Marie decides to give up the habit. Because Stevie doesn’t want to give up using and dealing drugs, they take Marie and the baby away from him. The new, tough, social worker Liam Kane tries to get Stevie in his group sessions, by using his violent approach and by telling him it’s the only way he’ll ever see Marie and the baby back. So there seems to be hope to get Stevie clean, if only he wants to himself. That things aren’t that easy is shown by the drugs addicted hooker Gail, who’s satisfied with the life she leads.

    Tinga Tinga Tales

    Tinga Tinga Tales is a 52 episodes children’s series based on African folk tales and aimed at 4- to 6-year olds. It was commissioned by the BBC for its CBeebies channel, and by Disney Channel for its Disney Junior block. Named after the Tingatinga art from Tanzania, it was made in Kenya by a studio of about 50 people. The music is by Kenyan singer-songwriter Eric Wainaina.

    The series was first developed by Claudia Lloyd, head of animation at Tiger Aspect, while travelling through Africa. The first three episodes premiered on the BBC website in early February 2010. The distribution rights have been bought by Entertainment Rights.

    Lenny Henry in Pieces

    Lenny Henry in Pieces was a British stand-up and sketch show by comedians Lenny Henry and Gina Yashere. It aired on BBC One between 2000 and 2003.

    The show began with two Christmas specials in 2000 and 2001. The 2000 show won the Golden Rose of Montreux award. This was followed up by a six-part series in March 2002. A second and final series consisting of seven episodes began in March 2003. It was followed by The Lenny Henry Show, which also featured sketches.

    The primary feature of the show is the sketches, although Henry has a brief stand-up section in each episode.
