Mayhem 1999 took place on November 21, 1999 from the Air Canada Centre in Toronto, Ontario. The primary focus of this event was a tournament for the WCW World Heavyweight Championship, with the semi-finals and finals held at the PPV. WCW Bash at the Beach 1999 (1999)
Bash at the Beach 1999 took place on July 11, 1999 from the National Car Rental Center in Fort Lauderdale, Florida. The main event was Kevin Nash & Sting defending the WCW World Heavyweight Championship against Randy Savage & Sid Vicious, with the stipulation that whoever got the pin would win the title. Roddy Piper fought Buff Bagwell in a boxing match, The Jersey Triad (DDP, Kanyon, & Bam Bam Bigelow) defended the WCW World Tag Team Championships against Saturn & Chris Benoit, The No Limit Soldiers had a rematch against The West Texas Rednecks, David Flair defended the WCW United States Heavyweight Championship against Dean Malenko, Rick Steiner defended the WCW World Television Championship against Van Hammer, and Ernest Miller wrestled Disco Inferno. There was also a “Junkyard Invitational” for the WCW Hardcore Trophy involving 14 competitors.

WCW Slamboree 1998 (1998)
Slamboree 1998 took place on May 17, 1998 from The Centrum in Worcester, Massachusetts and featured a double main event. The first was Randy Savage versus Bret Hart with Roddy Piper as the guest referee while the second was The Outsiders defending the WCW World Tag Team Championships against Sting & The Giant. A stunt match had Eric Bischoff challenging Vince McMahon to a match and holding it even though Vince had never acknowledged or accepted the challenge. Goldberg defended the WCW United States Championship against Saturn, Ultimo Dragon wrestled Eddie Guerrero, Diamond Dallas Page faced Raven in a Bowery Death match, Chris Jericho defended the WCW Cruiserweight Championship against Dean Malenko, Fit Finlay defended the WCW World Television Championship against Chris Benoit, Brian Adams fought Lex Luger, and a Cruiserweight Battle Royal was held with 15 contestants for a shot at the Cruiserweight belt.

SuperBrawl VIII took place on February 22, 1998 from the Cow Palace in San Francisco, California. A match was scheduled between Larry Zbyszko and Louie Spicolli; it was canceled following Spicolli’s death a week before the pay-per view. The main event was Sting vs Hollywood Hogan rematch (technically 2nd rematch as there was an audio only ppv the month before with a Steel Cage match between the two) for the vacant WCW World Heavyweight Championship. The WCW World Tag Team Titles were also on the line as The Steiner Brothers defended against The Outsiders. Other matches included Lex Luger vs Randy Savage, Diamond Dallas Page defending the WCW United States Heavyweight Championship against Chris Benoit, Steve McMichael vs British Bulldog, Chris Jericho vs Juventud Guerrera in a Title versus Mask match for the WCW Cruiserweight Championship, Goldberg vs Brad Armstrong, and 3 other matches.

WCW Starrcade ’97 (1997)
Starrcade (1997) was the fifteenth annual Starrcade PPV event. It was the tenth Starrcade event produced by WCW, and took place on December 28, 1997 from the MCI Center in Washington, D.C. The main event was between Hollywood Hogan and Sting for the World Heavyweight Championship, with Hogan representing the nWo and Sting representing World Championship Wrestling. The match culminated a year-long buildup of their feud. Other matches included Larry Zbyszko and Eric Bischoff for the control of WCW Monday Nitro, and Curt Hennig and Diamond Dallas Page for the WCW United States Heavyweight Championship. Under card matches included Buff Bagwell vs Lex Luger, Chris Benoit vs Saturn, Bill Goldberg vs Steve McMichael, Eddie Guerrero defending the WCW Cruiserweight Championship against Dean Malenko, and a Six-Man Tag Team match between Scott Norton, Vincent, & Randy Savage versus The Steiner Brothers & Ray Traylor.

WCW Hog Wild 1996 (1996)
Hog Wild took place on August 10, 1996 from the Sturgis Motorcycle Rally in Sturgis, South Dakota. The VHS cover featured Hulk Hogan in his Hulkster pose despite the fact that he, along with Kevin Nash and Scott Hall, formed the nWo one month prior and began being billed as Hollywood. The first eight matches aired on WCW Saturday Night on TBS. This event happened on a Saturday, instead of the normal Sunday night. The main event was Hollywood Hogan defending the WCW World Heavyweight Championship against The Giant. Also notable was a match between The Outsiders (Kevin Nash and Scott Hall) versus Sting & Lex Luger. Ric Flair defended the WCW United States Championship against Eddie Guerrero while Harlem Heat defended the WCW World tag Team Championships against The Steiner Brothers. The under card featured Chris Benoit vs Dean Malenko, Bull Nakano vs Madusa, Ice Train versus Scott Norton, and Rey Myserio, Jr. defending the WCW Cruiserweight Championship against The Ultimate Dragon.

Slamboree 1996 took place on May 19, 1996 from the Riverside Centroplex in Baton Rouge, Louisiana. Every non-title match was a Lethal Lottery match with wrestlers being randomly paired together, and the winning teams would advance to the Battlebowl battle royal. The title matches included The Giant defending the WCW World Heavyweight Championship against Sting, Konnan defending the WCW United States Heavyweight Championship against Jushin Liger, and Dean Malenko defending the WCW Cruiserweight Championship against Brad Armstrong.
